Mobile mechanic needed – 2004 Mitsubishi Express won’t idle Hi, I’m looking for a mobile mechanic to come to my location in Avalon Beach, Northern Sydney and diagnose/fix an issue with my 2004 Mitsubishi Express. The van starts normally, but it won’t hold idle. As soon as I take my foot off the accelerator, the RPM drops and the engine stalls. It will stay running if I keep my foot slightly on the accelerator. I’ve already checked the air intake/vacuum side and it seems to be getting air properly. I suspect the idle air control valve / idle control system around the throttle body may be dirty or blocked and could need cleaning, but I’d like someone experienced to inspect it and confirm the cause before replacing any parts. Important: the van cannot be driven, so I need someone who can come to Avalon Beach. The job would be to: * Diagnose the cause of the idle/stalling problem * Check the throttle body and idle air control system * Clean the relevant components if appropriate * Fix the problem if possible * Advise if any parts need to be replaced Please send me your quote/offer and availability, and let me know if you have experience with Mitsubishi Express vans.
