I’m looking for a qualified and experienced tradesperson to carry out timber repairs to my front porch, including replacement of structural posts and associated timber features. Scope of work: • Replace 2 x timber posts supporting the front porch roof, approx. 2.5 metres tall each. Posts are structural and load-bearing • Replace one timber post supporting railing • Replace existing timber railings • Replace existing latticework • Remove and dispose of old materials • Supply and install new timber, installed level, plumb, and securely fixed Additional notes: • Like-for-like timber replacement unless otherwise recommended • Porch will need to be safely supported while posts are replaced • Finish to be neat and suitable for external use. Painting not required. And A separation fence in the rear yard of the same property needs to be erected utilizing same wood lattice diagonal frame at the same property. Reimbursement of panels purchased from bunnings will be provided on production of receipt.
