It is either the metal Ariel point on the wall plate (which can corrode & deteriorate with age) or an internal wiring issue within the wall from the point to the antenna on the roof. Install my new weather station on top of a relatively high roof to an existing aerial pole on home roof. The pole will need to be lowered slightly (can be done by adjustable bolt accessed from carport roof) and the aerial lowered to accommodate the station that needs to sit on top of the pole. The pole needs to be levelled correctly for the station to operate correctly (looks relatively level now already).
