Looking for experienced movers to reposition a heavy marble dining table between two adjoining rooms inside the same house. This is not a house move. The table only needs to be moved a few metres from one connected room to the other. The move is straightforward in terms of access: Same level No stairs or steps Wide open-plan connection between the rooms Carpeted flooring Straightforward access into the house Dining table details Heavy marble dining table Approx. 1.4 m x 1.4 m Marble top is removable and simply lifts off the base The marble top will need to be carefully lifted off, moved separately a few metres, and placed back onto the base Exact weight is unknown, but the marble top is very heavy Protective blankets/padding should be used to minimise the risk of chips, cracks or other damage The table needs to be placed in its new position. Please quote based on the number of experienced movers you believe are required to handle the marble tabletop safely. When quoting, please confirm: How many people will attend Whether you have experience moving heavy marble or stone furniture Whether you will bring suitable protective blankets/padding Whether your quote includes all labour and Airtasker fees The main priority is ensuring the marble tabletop is moved safely and carefully.
