The unit in the living room is currently 7 kW cooling capacity and we envisage needing a similar size of unit. The master bedroom is smaller (3.5 m x 3 m) and therefore we anticipate needing a unit of around 2.5 kW capacity (but would take advice on this). The apartment building is 1970s double brick and we have double glazing throughout. There is space for the condenser units on the balconies immediately adjacent to the wall mounting locations.

Install small (1.6kw) box air conditioner into aluminium window. You will need to remove the window from the frame, install the air conditioner (can be supported from the outside window ledge) and then seal around the air conditioner with perspex or similar. Service my air conditioner which has been playing up at times when I use it, it will not always turn on and will sometimes turn off mid way through use. Needs a proper service.

I have 2 Samsung air conditioner units. 1 is dedicated to servicing just the ground and at the moment is flashing a red light the other services level 1 and 2. There are 3 bedrooms on the middle level and they are all individually zoned and level 2 has 1 bedroom, which is also individually zoned. I believe the filters need to be looked at. The heating and cooling function doesn't seem to be working all that well either. Possibly needs to be filled with gas? Both units are not working properly and coming into winter, I don't want my son / daughter's or my room without heating.
