We’re looking for an experienced air conditioning technician to inspect and assist with the repair of two LG split system units in an apartment located in Southbank, Melbourne. A service was carried out a few weeks ago, and the technician identified the following issues: one unit is not functioning properly and may have a problem with the solenoid and condenser fan motor. The second unit may have a compressor issue or a gas leak. In both cases, it was recommended that a technician with experience in VRV or City Multi systems be engaged. We are seeking someone knowledgeable in LG VRV systems who can assess the situation and proceed with repairs. Availability for a site visit in the coming days would be appreciated. Scope of Works for Air Conditioner • Remove the internal plastic housing and cover from air conditioner. • Disconnect the air conditioners sump and drainage system. • Disconnect the pump (if fitted) and sump from supply and flush out with clean water and hospital grade detergent. • Clean and disinfect the air conditioners sump, drainage pipes, barrel fan and fins. • Clean the internal housing. • Reconnect the pump system (if fitted) or drainage system. • Clean and refit air filters. • Test pump and float switch/ sensors are operating (if fitted) • Test and clean evaporation pan (if fitted) • Test system for correct operation.
