During the winter, especially in the mornings, my garage door often stops Three Quarter way when closing and then bounces back up. Here's a bit of background: I recently had to replace the roller motor and rail after the previous motor was damaged. I've also lubricated all the joints to ensure smooth operation. I have a Boss openers electric garage door that I tried to sync a new remote to. In doing so the original remote and button inside the house have become un synchronised and don't work and neither does the new remote. Garage door wont open. Motor runs. Chain moves along the rail. Just doesn't 'grab' to lift the door. I've tried moving the cord from lock, middle position and to unlock and no difference. Model is an eco garage double door.
