Railing which runs the garage door chain and is connected to the motor is only screwed in the dry wall. Need a registered builder to secure the railing by installing a stud or block through the roof cavity (my observation) and plaster/paint the cornice.

Hello, My garage motor on the single roller door has been playing up since I’ve moved in, I have two remote, one doesn’t work and is broken and the other one works randomly, every other week.. I can use the manual button on the motor, but it stops about 6 inches off the ground and can only go up with the power of the motor if I push the door up with it. I think it might need replacing but perhaps it has been set up wrong because it’s rolls down super quick but rolls up super slow (when it did work on its own without assistance)
