The garage door has structural damage at the spring mounting point. The torsion spring centre bracket has pulled out of the brickwork, leaving the spring and shaft partially unsupported. Plaster and masonry around the mount have broken and are exposed. The door is unsafe to operate. Looking for an experienced garage-door technician or builder to: • Repair or rebuild the damaged brickwork / lintel • Securely refit or replace the spring centre bracket • Re-tension and align the torsion spring • Test and make the door safe to use Photos are provided so you can assess before quoting. I’m happy to consider practical, cost-effective repair options as long as the result is safe and compliant. This is an urgent safety issue, so I’m looking for prompt availability and a fair, competitive price.

We do have very small car single garage and the current door is rusted & not functioning. We would like someone to come over to assess, measure and give us options on replacing this Garage door completely, supply & install, and remove all the debris post work completion. Manually locked garage door design is ok if it does not allow automated garage door, mainly we like to protect the garage from all weather & rain along with safety/privacy perspective. The Garage door frame also need to be replaced as the timber is rotten with rain water. Weather protection (mainly from rain water) design/install is preferred. PCB on existing Merlin all weather drive blown. Looking for a supply and install or just an install of a new motor and I can purchase the motor.

One side of the garage door has come out of the rail. Need to be fixed. Seems like a relatively easy fix but I don't have the right tools. Looks like you need to open some bolts, here the door back into the rails and then bolt it back. Happy to pay for a 2 hour job. If something extra props up, can pay more.
