The bottom panels have heavily cracked, peeling, and weathered white paint that needs thorough preparation before a new finish can be applied. Scope of work includes: • Removing the door from its hinges to work efficiently (if preferred). • Thoroughly scraping and sanding the weathered lower panels back to a smooth, sound surface. • Patching or filling any major cracks or deep gouges if necessary. • Applying 1 coat of a high-quality primer/undercoat. • Applying 2 coats of premium topcoat paint (gloss or semi-gloss white). • Rehanging the door and cleaning up the workspace.
