I’m studying biomedical engineering at the University of Melbourne. Exams are approaching and I’m after a tutor to assist me with a few sessions for my two subjects: Mechanics for bioengineering (BMEN30010) Circuits and systems (BMEN30006) The outlines of the content looks like the following: Mechanics - Our objective in this subject is to teach you fundamental analysis methods of Statics, and Dynamics. Statics deals with the study of mechanical forces when an object is stationary. Dynamics deals with the study of mechanical forces when an object is in motion. Circuits and systems: Topics include: Basic principles of charge, current, Coulomb's law, electric fields and electrical energy, Kirchhoff's current law, Kirchhoff's voltage law, voltage and current division, node voltage analysis, mesh current analysis, Thévenin and Norton equivalent circuits, transient analysis of RC and RL circuits, steady-state analysis of RLC circuits, phasors and impedance, frequency domain models for signals and frequency response for systems, continuous-time and discrete-time Fourier transforms, frequency response, filtering, transfer functions, Z-transforms, Laplace transforms, poles and zeros, Bode plots, and the relationship to state-space representations My hope for a tutor: Having done these subjects before or ones like it (as a student or lecturer). Both subjects require a strong understanding of maths so that’s needed too. My hope for our time together: I want to run through past exam questions breaking down questions so I can spend my own time well having first having had the exam content shown to me.
