Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced in repairing sliding security screen doors. My sliding screen door has recently become stiff and difficult to open and close. It slides smoothly at first, but starts getting stuck and makes a squeaking/scraping noise as it approaches the closed position. I’ve noticed that lifting the door slightly makes it much easier to slide, so it may be an issue with the rollers, tracks or door alignment. I’m looking for someone to identify the problem and fix it, rather than replace the whole door. My budget is $70, preferably including labour and any basic replacement parts. Thank you!

Looking for an experienced handyman/carpenter to complete a few small repairs to our bathroom and toilet doors. Our home is double brick and both doors are fitted to metal/pressed-steel door frames. Work required: • Bathroom door: Hinges need replacing. Tasker will need to supply suitable replacement hinges. • Bathroom door: Install a new door handle (we will supply the handle). • Toilet door: Door currently won’t shut properly and needs to be adjusted/realigned so it closes correctly. • Toilet: Mount a new toilet roll holder (we will supply this). Ideally looking for someone experienced working with doors and metal/steel door frames who can complete everything in one visit. Happy for you to inspect and advise if anything additional is required.

The front door to our property is hard to close and open. We suspect it may be a sagging door with loose hinges. Looking for someone who has the tools and experience to complete the repair.
