The works involve the full demolition of an existing structurally compromised former school building, including the safe removal, handling, transport, and disposal of asbestos containing materials (ACM) identified within the structure and surrounding affected areas. The building has sustained extensive deterioration, including major ceiling collapse, severe internal damage, and material degradation, creating both structural instability and public health risk. ACM identified within several internal wall linings must be treated as friable due to existing damage and loose fibre exposure. The objective of the project is to remove hazardous materials, demolish designated structures, clear the site, and return all affected areas to a safe, clean, and stable condition suitable for future use.

I need a short section of exterior footpath broken up and taken away. The slab measures roughly 1.4 m × 2.8 m and is about 120 mm thick. It’s solid concrete with no steel reinforcement, so once it’s cut and broken out the pieces should be straightforward to lift. Scope • Saw-cut, jackhammer or otherwise break the entire slab. • Load every fragment and dispose of it off-site; I don’t want any rubble left here. • Leave the sub-grade level, clean and ready for whatever comes next. Site access is good for small machinery or a ute and trailer, and there’s power and water on hand if you need them. Please let me know how soon you can fit the job in and an estimated time on site.

There is a bunch of rubble, gyprock, old wardrobe panels and general demolition waste that needs to be gathered up and placed in the skip bin on site. I estimate about two hours work for one person. There is a wheelbarrow on site to make this easier.
