This is steel framed structure that requires sarking and cavity battens installed plus all windows are fixed to timber battens.

Description: Seeking an experienced carpenter / builder for exterior weatherproofing work on a single-storey home in Crawley. The property has an added room (extension). One gable-end wall is timber-framed weatherboard on the upper half and brick on the lower half. The roof currently has no eave overhang on this side, so rainwater runs straight down and repeatedly soaks the timber section, which is thin and prone to damp. Scope of work: Build/add an eave (roof overhang) along the roof edge on this wall to direct rainwater away from the wall — including fascia, eave lining and gutter/downpipe as required. Install waterproof cladding/sheeting over the timber wall section, with building wrap/sarking behind, to weatherproof the wall. Requirements: Current trade licence and public liability insurance (please confirm in your offer). Able to advise on / arrange asbestos testing and, if needed, licensed removal — the home is older and existing eave/cladding materials may contain asbestos. Please advise whether a building permit is required for the eave work. Access: The property is tenanted — site inspection must be arranged by appointment in advance. Supply and install stainless steel sheet to cover section of damaged tiled wall in Fremantle. Approx dimensions of each of the two panels to be ~700mm wide x 1,200mm tall. Bamboo Fence Cladding Repair We require repairs to sections of bamboo cladding attached to a steel fence. Scope of works: * Remove and replace/reattach damaged or loose sections of bamboo cladding. * Approximately 8 metres of fencing requires repair. * The existing bamboo was originally secured with wire; replacement fixings can be heavy-duty zip ties if suitable. * Install and secure timber rails/posts along the top and bottom of the fence, as shown in the photos, to provide additional support and stability. * Ensure the bamboo screening is securely fixed and presents a neat, uniform appearance. Photos are available showing the existing fence and the desired timber support arrangement.

A small section of natural stacked stone cladding has detached from an outdoor feature wall and needs to be securely re-fixed. Scope of work: Prep the surface: Grind or chip away the old, failed adhesive ridges on the wall back to a clean, flat surface. Prep the stone: Clean up the backs of the loose stone panels so they can be re-hung flush. Re-install: Re-glue the loose panels back onto the wall. The previous install failed due to poor adhesive coverage, so full trowel coverage is required this time. Details: Size of repair: Very small area, approximately 60cm wide by 50cm high (roughly 0.3m²). Materials: The stone panels fell off mostly intact and are right next to the wall. No new stone needs to be supplied. What you need to bring: You will need to supply your own tools (grinder/scraper) and a suitable outdoor-rated, flexible polymer-modified stone adhesive. Please see the attached photos with a tape measure for exact dimensions and the current state of the wall/stone. Timing: Flexible, but needs to be a weekend (anytime) or a weekday after 3:30pm.
