Looking for an experienced handyman to repair the cornice above the kitchen, which has separated from the ceiling/wall in a couple of areas (see photos). Hi there, I need a careful demolition and prep job done for an upcoming kitchen and laundry renovation. Timeline: This needs to be completed between September 23rd and September 25th before our new cabinets arrive. Please note: We are selling the existing kitchen cabinets, appliances, sink and tapware, so those will be removed separately. We need you to handle the remaining demo work. Scope of Work: Splashbacks: Demolish and remove the tile splashback in the kitchen and the laundry. Laundry Unit: Disconnect (water will be off) and remove the existing freestanding laundry sink/cabinet. Cornice: Cut and remove a specific section of the cornice above the kitchen to make room for new full-height cabinetry. Cleanup: Site must be left clean and all demo rubbish removed. Requirements: Must bring your own tools and drop sheets. Must include rubbish removal in your quote.
