Job Description Seeking a handyman or maintenance worker to apply Boracol timber treatment to structural timber elements of a residential property. The treatment is intended to protect the timber against fungal decay, rot, mould, and wood-boring insects. The work will focus on timber located underneath the house and externally exposed timber surfaces. Scope of Work Apply Boracol treatment to the following areas: Timber stumps underneath the house Subfloor structural timbers, including: Bearers Joists Floorboards from underneath External-facing exposed timber surfaces. The treatment should be evenly applied to all accessible timber surfaces to ensure proper penetration and protection. Requirements Experience with handyman work, timber maintenance, or similar treatment applications preferred. Comfortable working underneath a house in a crawlspace/subfloor area. Ability to use sprayers or other timber treatment application equipment (and have their own equipment) Attention to detail to ensure thorough timber coverage. Equipment & Materials Boracol product will be supplied by the homeowner. The contractor will need to provide their own: Application equipment (e.g. pump sprayer, treatment sprayer, brushes if required) Personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, mask/respirator, and suitable clothing. I need help dismantling and moving a gas lift bed frame from my garage to an upstairs bedroom and reassembling it. The bed frame is currently assembled and located in the garage. It will need to be partially dismantled to move it upstairs through the house and then reassembled in the bedroom. Details: • Gas lift bed frame • Currently assembled in the garage • Needs dismantling, carrying upstairs, and reassembly • Mattress will already be removed • Some tools may be required Ideally looking for someone experienced with assembling furniture or bed frames.
