I could use the help of a computer expert. I recently I purchased a new laptop, and 2 x monitors. I wanted a set up where I could remove the laptop and take it with me if need be, but otherwise plug in and use with the 2 x monitors for my work. We had someone come out and hook it all up, and it worked for about 5 minutes, now the monitors wont work with the laptop lid closed, the printer wont print, and the whole thing is driving me insane. I've purchased 2 x docking stations to try and get this right, but nothing has changed at all. I really need to work, and this has been a massive inconvenience, not to mention a costly exercise. I dont want anymore drama. I could really use the help of someone that sees this sort of stuff all the time, and could genuinely help me out. Hello I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 (PF3PXWW8) that I use for my research on ending discrimination in children's sport. It is 3 years old and needs an upgrade and clean. I need to upgrade the RAM, it is currently 16 and I want to hopefully double the size. I also want to upgrade the hard drive (475gb). I can obviously purchase the memory, but need someone who is skills with computers to do the install and also help me clean up any unnecessary processes on the computer. The challenge: I use the computer all the time and can't drop it off at a shop for 24 hours... and have heard bad things about the people who come to your house (really hit or miss, depending on who they send). Thought posting the work here would be a better approach as I can then look at actual reviews. Let me know if you are keen to help. I'd ideally like to do this next Wednesday evening (30 July). I am on NBN with Telstra - experience anywhere between 1 and 5 drops outs per day Not good when video-conferencing 5 hrs/day. Im paying over 300 per mo for all sorts of data and all sorts of crap.
