When the couch was originally moved into the apartment, it was successfully brought up through the stairwell, so we know this route is possible. I would also like the movers to properly protect the couch before moving it, using moving blankets, plastic/movers wrap, or similar protective materials to prevent damage or marking while carrying it downstairs. I need someone to collect and remove the furniture and a small amount of additional rubbish from my office in Cheltenham. Everything shown in the attached photo can go, including the sofa, armchairs, coffee table and other furniture/items pictured, plus a few smaller miscellaneous rubbish items. There is no need to deliver anything anywhere. You can dispose of, recycle, donate or keep any of it; I simply need it all removed. Please bring a suitable van, ute or trailer and enough people to safely move the larger furniture. Important access information: there are roadworks near the office. Studio & workshop clearance — 2 people, 4 hours, Sunday I need to clear out a studio and workshop, moving items into temporary storage just next door (~50m, single flight of stairs). Unfortunately I have an arm injury and am unable to lift at all. I will be onsite the whole time and will help wherever I can — directing, guiding placement, opening doors etc. — but need two capable people to handle all of the actual lifting and carrying between you. Tasks: - 10–15 boxes to move (~50m, up/down one flight of stairs) — 1–2 person lift each - 6 delicate artworks — two-person lift, careful handling required - A few pieces of furniture (bench seats) to move - Clear steel stock off racking onto the ground — light, not delicate, just volume - Tool trolley to be loaded onto a dolly (dolly provided) Bonus if capable: helping pull screws from wall-mounted shelves/whiteboards — I can do the actual unscrewing, just need a second pair of hands to hold steady When: Sunday, 12:30pm–4:30pm (4 hours) Budget: $450 total for two people Looking for: Experience with furniture/moving work, comfortable with careful handling of artwork, good communication.
