Looking for a house clean to be completed initially as a one off clean then hopefully leading to a regular fortnightly clean. Property is a 3 bedroom high set Queenslander with one of the bedrooms being used as an office. There is only one bathroom with a shower only (no bath). Must be dog-friendly as we have 2 large, but very friendly, dogs (Boxers). Cleaning required consists of: - Full clean of the bathroom including tiled floor, shower screen, toilet, basin and external surfaces of vanity and cabinets - Kitchen & pantry cleaning including sink, surfaces of worktops, hob, external surfaces of cupboards and dining table - Vacuum all rooms (timber flooring throughout with the exception of the 2x bedrooms which have carpets) - Cleaning 2x blinds in the living room only - Cleaning of window sills - Spot clean of any dirty marks on walls (usually caused by dog slobbers!) Other additional items such as cleaning the oven, cleaning windows, ceiling fans or external cleaning would be open for discussion/agreement for extra time to complete. Based on our previous cleaners the clean takes approximately 2 hours. Budget noted is based on a 2 hour clean at $50/hour and takes into account Airtasker fees for the initial clean. The work required sounds like a lot but cleaners we've had previously have all arrived for the first clean and commented on how clean the house already is. A client of mine has a capacity for 3hrs a week for cleaning and would want something weekly to keep on top of things. She has 4 kids so the house cleaning gets super overwhelming for her to keep on top of it all. She preferably would like female workers only as she has CPTSD and would provide her with more comfortability. We’re still working out what exactly she needs help with the most and would love to work with you on working that out. But think the bathroom, hallway, kitchen & lounge room are what primarily needs general clean and tidy ie. cleaning all of bathroom and toilet, dishes, clearing and wiping benches, vacuum, mop, putting away toys & other misc items etc. Then moving forward for continuing weeks we could look towards helping out with laundry but just need to gauge how long everything takes and what she can afford in her budget. If the first day takes slightly longer to learn & get in the hang of things that’s totally fine, understand you guys will be getting used to the house and where everything is to begin with. Two cleaners would likely be better for job, but we have had one cleaner on her own and is doable. Invoicing needs to be done through NDIS, so she will send an invoice through to them and once she is paid she is able to send payment through. Usually only takes a few days after invoice submission. NDIS Cleaning rate is maximum of $58.03 per hour.
