We have an open riser staircase which is currently carpeted over hardwood. We would like to remove the carpet and finish the hardwood. Please see photos of the current staircase attached. Tasks are expected to involve: - Remove carpet, tack strips and staples (we can dispose) - Fill all holes with matching filler - Sand smooth (including removing existing paint on the sides, through sanding or any other method) - Apply hardwood floor finish It is noted that, at the back of the open riser steps, many staples were applied which are deep and appear to have been hit flush with the wood. Hi, I’m looking for an experienced carpet installer to replace the carpet on our timber staircase. The job includes: * Remove and dispose of the existing stair carpet * Install new carpet/carpet runner on the stairs * Fit and secure the carpet neatly around each step, including the turning/curved section at the bottom of the staircase * Keep the timber edges/sides exposed, similar to the style shown in the attached photo * Clean and professional finish required The staircase has a turn at the bottom and continues straight upstairs.
