I'm looking for help installing a Sony XAV-AX1000 head unit in my 2011 Toyota Aurion Touring SE. My cousin was originally going to handle it but is no longer available. I've already purchased the Aerpro CHTO2C and would like to use it. I believe theres a few other parts required I just need someone to install the unit properly and complete the setup. My current Pioneer radio doesn’t work, and I also want to retain my factory reverse camera and steering wheel controls. I have an old Camry 1998. We had a system fixed in it about 10-12 years ago with camera and GPS features as well as radio etc. The original stereo was removed. The system has stopped working and keeps draining the battery. I had to get it jumpstarted multiple times over the last year and every time when it stays undriven for a week or so, the battery dies again. I have a double din stereo head unit and a facia kit with harness that I want to have installed in my car (2000 CLK430). The dash has the perfect size hole for a double din but there will be a metal bracket divider that will need to be cut out. Pictures to help explain. The car forums say its a common upgrade but not as straight forward as some due to the bracket.

Hi all, I am seeking advice from an independent car audio specialist. I have a VW Multivan and need someone to recommend the right parts, source the parts, and install the parts, for a stereo upgrade. All I want us to run a subwoofer with the current system. There is an underseat enclosure available and I'm happy with that, but there's mixed advice online and I'm confused about the best way to get the stock stereo's output (via speaker cables) to an amp, which would then power the sub. It doesn't have to be super great quality - just a cheep and cheerful banging bass setup to accompany the existing system. There are lots of options to spend lots of money and pull out the head unit for upgrades, but I'm not keen on this route. Please only reply if you are a full time experienced installer. The price is for the advice and wiring. I will do the physical box install etc, but I would need you to wire up power to the amp and run wires to get the sound signal from the headunit to the amp. To confirm again - the price quoted here is for your advice, and payment for the time it takes to install all the wiring. The cost of all the hardware will be covered by me - and I will invest the time installing the sub box.
