Car has been purchased, Nissan Maxima 07, was cranking not starting. red security light on permanantly when trying to crank. Hooked up obd2 scanner and is giving P1610 and P1614 error codes. The history from the previous owner is the battery went flat, sat for about 6 months no battery or with new battery but disconnected. I am assuming that the keys may have lost registration with the car. I need to to try to reprogram keys to car to rule out this as the problem, if this doesn't work then it maybe something else to do with the NATS system.
