Issues: Check engine light on – my OBD scanner suggests a crankshaft position sensor (CKP) / crank sensor fault. Radiator/cooling fan keeps running after the car is switched off. What I’m after: Professional diagnosis (VW/VAG scan tool preferred) Identify root cause(s) (sensor, wiring, relay/module, etc.) Provide a clear repair plan + quote for parts and labour If parts are available and agreed, complete repairs (or schedule return visit) Clear codes and confirm the fix Budget: $100 for diagnosis (call-out + diagnostic time). Hello! Price negotiable I need a 2TR-FE engine swap for my 2009 Hiace. I can get a donor vehicle delivered to your workshop anywhere in Sydney though prefer Northern Beaches. We need to pull out motors from both vehicles and install the good one in my van. Possibly do the clutch and swap the diff at same time. I'm flexible on dates and willing to offside if time lines up. (I'm not a mechanic but have some experience assisting with mechanical work) Always want to learn more mechanical in case I break down out bush and need to get out of trouble! Once the job is done donor van will go for scrap, or if useful to you you can keep it for parts etc

2013 Audi Q3 Quattro (VIN is WAUZZZ8U5DR041585) started losing significant quantity of coolant, and I established that water pump failed and must be replaced. I would like that a qualified person replace it with an aftermarket pump (cheapest possible repair required). I have not purchased replacement pump. Can I have quote for this job (labour and part/s)? Checkout two boat engines. One is a 20hp mariner outboard, in good condition but hasn't run in 6-12 months, just needs the carby cleaned. Would be good to do this included in this task. The other engine is an inboard. 25 hp Yanmar Diesal, has had an oil issued that is now fixed but the overheating alarm goes off after 20-30 mins of running but the engine is not overheating. So it needs diagnosing. 2 hour task, $80 per hour

The engine of my Subaru Outback 2004 is misfiring. It's a 3.0 V6 engine. I've already replaced the spark plugs and checked the ignition coil so it has to be the fuel injections. Before buying 6 new fuel injections I want to check first if we can clean them and if some them need to be replaced. Looking for an experienced mechanic who's confident to the job!
