We are looking for an experienced and well-connected cabinet maker/joinery professional to help us introduce the portal to other cabinet makers throughout Melbourne. The role: We will train you on our stone quoting portal and how the system works. You will then help us: * Introduce the portal to cabinet makers within your network * Demonstrate how cabinet makers can use the portal to obtain stone pricing * Help businesses complete their first few quotes through the system * Explain the benefits and make the onboarding process simple * Provide us with feedback from cabinet makers so we can continue improving the platform Who we’re looking for: Ideally, you have: * Strong experience in cabinet making/joinery * A large network of cabinet makers and joinery businesses across Melbourne * Good understanding of how cabinet makers currently obtain stone quotations * Existing relationships with business owners, estimators and project managers * Confidence demonstrating a simple online system * Good communication and people skills * An interest in ongoing work rather than just a once-off task This is not a cabinet-making or installation position. I’m looking for an experienced handyman or carpenter in Melbourne to help me convert an existing closet space into a functional office desk. Current State: I have already completely gutted the inside of the wardrobe. Demolition: Carefully remove the existing wardrobe doors and the old wooden frame/architrave around the door opening, minimizing damage to the surrounding plaster. Desk Installation: Supply and install a sturdy, custom-cut timber benchtop/desk surface inside the space at standard sitting height (approx. 73-75cm high), securely mounted to the wall studs. Top Cabinet Door: Supply and install a single cabinet door to cover the existing top shelf. This door needs to open upwards to the ceiling, so it will require appropriate lift-up hinges to hold safely. Cabinetry adjustment above gas stove – make compliant I need a cabinetmaker/handyman to modify the existing overhead cabinetry above a freestanding gas stove in a Richmond apartment. The current cupboard/extraction fan enclosure sits too low and protrudes over the cooktop. I need the cabinetry altered so there is sufficient clearance above the gas cooktop and the area can meet the applicable installation/compliance requirements. Work would likely involve: * Cutting back, shortening or reconfiguring the cupboard directly above the stove. * Adjusting/removing the lower section that currently protrudes over the cooktop. * Making good the cabinetry after alteration so it looks neat and finished. * Coordinating the finished dimensions with the required clearance for the gas cooktop/rangehood. Cabinet: any combustible cabinet surface directly above the gas cooktop should ideally be 650 mm or more above the top of the gas trivet. Cabinet Maker Needed to Adjust Kitchen Cabinetry for Stone Benchtop Realignment Looking for an experienced cabinet maker to inspect and adjust existing kitchen cabinetry to allow a stone benchtop to be moved back into its correct position. A stone mason has advised that the cabinetry underneath requires adjustment before the stone can be repositioned. There is currently movement/misalignment in the cabinetry which appears to have contributed to the benchtop shifting and cracking at a join. Scope of Works: Inspect existing kitchen cabinetry and supports. Move and re-level cabinetry as required. Reinforce or adjust cabinet structure to support the stone correctly. Ensure cabinets are level and suitable for the stone mason to reinstall/reposition the benchtop. Advise if any additional cabinet repairs are required.

Cut out a space for a dishwasher under bench in an existing kitchen cabinet. Still need to maintain the appearance of the kitchen. I want to be able to have the remaining cupboard space under the sink as well so a small door or a blank can be installed between the edge of the dishwasher and the next door. Pillar will need to be moved across. I have some photos with the measurements. Dishwasher is 820mm high, 600mm wide and 570 deep. Parking is off street (I have a driveway)

Most Cabinetry comes pre assembled, the wardrobes are flat packs and tall cabinet like pantry is flat pack.

I recently removed our door panel that usually covers our fridge, because its a bit of a nuisance. I would like to repurpose it to cover the areas around the fridge. The panel is Kaboodle oak latte (melamine faced particle board). I would like someone to measure and cut: 2 x smaller cabinet doors (to go above the fridge) 2 x long vertical strips (to be used either side of the fridge) I would also like the door hinges to be repositioned and installed for the 2 doors. I’ve attached photos to show the existing setup, and a mock-up of what we’re hoping to achieve for clarity.
