Find an experienced builder in Maylands WA

We have built a small brick nook for a bbq that extends about 0.5m beyond existing patio roof. Width is 2.6m. We need to extend the roof to overhang this area. Likely build include stirrups from the new brick wall, and running a beam across, with beams then back to the roof.

Looking for help installing an automatic gate to a driveway. I can organise the purchase and delivery of the gate but would prefer a professional opinion on which one before I buy. (Bonus points if you can supply too.) Price is for install only. I will sort electricity to the area as well. The photos show the driveway - the hedge on the left will be removed entirely. The plant on the right is hiding water & electricity lines so they'll need to be worked around.

Replace MHouse SL210 motorized driveway gate with more powerful gate. Or fix issues with gate auto closing. Our gate motor is about 10 years old and it has trouble consistently closing. 1 in every 3 or so times while we are closing it, it keeps catching on something and opening again and we have to press the close button about 5 times. This has started happening since the renovation where some large vehicles drove over the gate rail. However this issue is not consistent. Sometimes it closes without a problem. Sometimes we clean out the rail after rain and debris and it closes, but sometimes it doesn't.

We require structural sign off to add a non-permeable roof to our pergola. We are in City of Bayswater which has different rules to our neighbouring council regarding patios. We have built a pergola with a shade cloth. Because it lets water through, it's not classed as a patio and therefore fits within the current Pergola guidelines for Bayswater that do not require council approval. We would now like to add corrugated plastic roofing to protect from rain in the winter. This would make it a patio and require structural sign off to be able to get council approval. If we lived 1km to the West, we wouldn't require this sign off as Stirling allows patios with a roof under a certain size to be built without council sign off.

Hi, I need an 11m by 1.5m high panel and post retaining wall rebuilt in Maylands. Please supply and install it. I just bought my lot, and the developer's contractor messed up the retaining wall. Photos attached

We have a drainage gully across the driveway which channels water to a soak well. The plastic grating needs to be replaced but there is a problem and we cannot get it to fit. Bunnings said it would click into place but it does not. Possibly the gully is not installed correctly in the first place? We need a professional to fix it or install a new one. - Due date: Flexible
