So I bought a Schlage Smart lock, but hit a snag with its installation due to the orientation of the strike plate and lack of cross bore hole in the door. Considered giving it a go myself, but given my lack of expertise and appropriate tools, figured I’d better save myself from the drama should I bugger up the door.
