We have a Ford transit with a tieman tailgate lifter. The electrical socket/plug at the back (narva 7 pin round trailer socket) and the wiring for the tailgate need rewiring. Unsure if the cord is in working condition or not but the problem seems to be with the socket. We can pay for parts needed, photos attached for reference. $100 but flexible on pricing and times.

Old Mazda B220 diesel, used as farm ute. Was running fine and no prior electric issues .... Now no ignition lights due to battery connections reversed. Checked fuses - OK. Likely something fried when battery polarity mistakenly reversed when using jump start battery. Only connected for 20 seconds or so. Need diagnosis and if possible fix. Rural property Harcourt North.
