Find an experienced assembler in Kelvin Grove

I’m setting up an alternative school learning space and am looking for 2 reliable Airtaskers to help get everything ready in one day. You’ll be working alongside two school staff members, who will be onsite for the day to allocate tasks, clarify anything and assist as needed. This task is ideal for Airtaskers who are confident with flat-pack furniture, general setup work and getting things done efficiently and to a great standard. Open to 2 individual Airtaskers or a team of 2. Date & Time (fixed): - Monday 12 January - 8:00am – 3:30pm (7 hours paid work + a 30min unpaid lunch break) Please only apply if you are available for the full day. There are several spaces to be set up. For each space, you’ll have: - a clear list of items to go into the space - all items already grouped and ready next to each space - a layout plan showing the intended setup. Tasks will include: - assembling flat-pack furniture (desks, bookshelves, cupboards, cube shelving, chairs, sofas, etc. from IKEA, Bunnings, Kmart, Fantastic Furniture etc.) - placing furniture according to the layout plans - placing rugs, cushions and soft furnishings - organising items into cupboards and storage. What this is not: - No electrical or plumbing work - No trade qualifications required (but of course welcome) - No design decisions needed. Requirements: - Experience assembling flat-pack furniture - Comfortable working as part of a small team - Able to follow provided layouts and work efficiently - Own basic tools preferred (drill, Allen keys, screwdriver set, mallet). Pay is $50 per hour x 7 hours total = $350 per person Parking available on-site and also close to public transport options. PLEASE NOTE THIS JOB IS POSTED TWICE AS I NEED TWO AIRTASKERS.
