I'm setting up some lovely bedrooms in a rooming house in Glen Waverley and I'm looking for a friendly, reliable person to help bring them to life - assembling flat-pack furniture and styling the rooms so they feel warm and welcoming. If you enjoy this kind of work and take pride in a job well done, I'd love to hear from you. 😊 The first job: Assemble flat-pack furniture for 3 bedrooms: 3 x beds, 3 x chests of drawers, 3 x bedside tables, and possibly 3 x desks (I'll confirm). Style each room with soft furnishings (bedding, cushions, throws and so on) to match some reference photos I'll send through. Pop the packaging into a pile / flatten it and dispose of. And there's plenty more! Once these 3 rooms are done, I'll have another 5 lots of furniture to assemble within about 7 days after — so this is a great ongoing opportunity for the right person, not just a one-off. This is my first property of several, so there's real potential for regular work down the track. What would make you perfect: Experienced and confident with flat-packs, and happy to bring your own tools (drill, etc.). A good eye for making a room look inviting — I'd love these to feel polished, not just put together. Easygoing about timing. The furniture is arriving in batches, so I'm after someone who's happy to be booked in at short notice over the coming days. I'll always give you as much notice as I possibly can. Everything will be new, flat-packed and waiting on-site before you arrive.
