Help moving some items around new apartment and assembling bed

We have 2 basketball shooting machines - that are having we think bearing issues. Preferably someone with some engineering background or light machinery or mechanical would have a better idea on issue we are experiencing with one of the cranks. We have instructions provided by the manufacturer - but can’t seem to diagnose the problem. The crank in the image is stuck and we aren’t sure whether it’s due to bearing failure or something else we can diagnose. We imagine time will be needed to diagnose and then we can sort out extra work if needed.

The task is assembling two flats packs. One is a toddler king single bed frame and the other a wardrobe flat pack
