Hi! I need help with my partner’s 2009 Mazda 6 Hatchback that has the factory Bose speaker setup. The stock amplifier has stopped working properly – when it’s connected, it makes a loud "machine gun" sound instead of playing audio. Apparently it's pretty common for the amp to fail in these cars. I’m looking for someone with car audio experience to either: Install an aftermarket amplifier (supplied by you or recommended by you), or Troubleshoot and repair the issue so the sound system works again, even if that means bypassing or replacing the Bose amp. We moved into house. Sound system was left by previous owner and he took whatever playing device was plugged into the amp. I'm looking to get the system working again. It's has speakers in the living room roof and in the theatre room.
