I run a Sydney-based wedding floral and event design studio and I’m looking to connect with a talented sewist who can assist with creating custom styling pieces on an ad-hoc basis. The work would include items such as: – Fabric backdrops and draping – Table linens (including specialty pieces like champagne towers) – Custom runners, napkins, and soft styling elements – Occasional bespoke pieces for specific event concepts This is not a one-off job — I’m ideally looking to build an ongoing relationship with someone reliable and detail-oriented who takes pride in high-quality finishes. What I’m looking for: – Strong sewing skills with experience in working with a range of fabrics – Attention to detail and neat, professional finishes – Ability to follow a brief and collaborate on custom ideas – Based in Sydney (or able to easily coordinate locally) If this sounds like you, I’d love to hear from you. I have two pairs of trousers I would like the leg length extended on if possible. They are Rodd and Gunn brushed cotton pants and will need about an inch extended if possible.
