I run a Sydney-based wedding floral and event design studio and I’m looking to connect with a talented sewist who can assist with creating custom styling pieces on an ad-hoc basis. The work would include items such as: – Fabric backdrops and draping – Table linens (including specialty pieces like champagne towers) – Custom runners, napkins, and soft styling elements – Occasional bespoke pieces for specific event concepts This is not a one-off job — I’m ideally looking to build an ongoing relationship with someone reliable and detail-oriented who takes pride in high-quality finishes. What I’m looking for: – Strong sewing skills with experience in working with a range of fabrics – Attention to detail and neat, professional finishes – Ability to follow a brief and collaborate on custom ideas – Based in Sydney (or able to easily coordinate locally) If this sounds like you, I’d love to hear from you. I am very over weight and need my shorts custom made

Looking for a seamstress to sew buttons onto a knit top. 8 buttons each top & have 8 tops that need to be sewn.

The PU leather on the bottom half of my jacket is flaking. Need the panels replaced with a different black material. Flexible on the material used to replace it as long as black and in keeping with style of jacket. I’ve already had the panels under the arms replaced (see photo) so if material was similar to that would be great.

Hello, I have a shop in manly and I am looking for a sewer/seamstress to relabel our clothing. Labels to go on are 60mmx25mm straight cut. You need to remove current labels carefully and sew new ones. This would be a recurring job. Probably once a week or fortnightly, every time we receive new stock. Ideal person would live in the manly area. Rate would be between 0.5c to 1 dollar per clothing. Happy to discuss what’s a fair rate.
