The existing lower cabinetry was designed around older appliances and does not provide adequate clearance for modern full-size washer and dryer units. The laundry currently includes: * Existing upper wall cabinets to remain * Existing laundry sink * Existing lower cabinetry * Existing laminate benchtop * Existing tiled splashback * Washing machine and dryer located under the benchtop New Cabinetry & Benchtop * Construct and install new lower cabinetry. * Design cabinetry to accommodate modern full-size washing machine and dryer units, with sufficient clearance for future appliance replacement. * Supply and install a new benchtop. * Reinstall the existing sink unless replacement is recommended. * Install required side panels, fillers, and kickboards. * Ensure all cabinetry is level, secure, and properly supported. Plumbing * Disconnect and reconnect sink services as required. * Modify plumbing to suit the new cabinetry layout. * Test all connections and confirm there are no leaks. Splashback * Supply and install a new splashback across the full bench length. * Open to either: * White subway tiles; or * Large-format porcelain/slab splashback. * Please provide options and pricing for both where possible. Finishing & Clean-Up * Silicone and seal all junctions. * Repair any minor wall damage resulting from demolition. * Remove rubbish and leave the site clean. Quoting Requirements Please provide: * Labour-only estimate. * Supply-and-install estimate. * Proposed materials. * Examples/photos of similar laundry renovations. * Estimated project duration. Preference is for a clean, modern result rather than modifying or patching the existing cabinetry.

Hi, I need help with a few repair issues in an apartment in Zetland. Main issues to inspect/fix: 1. Toilet cistern running continuously There is water running in the toilet all the time. It may need the cistern mechanism adjusted or a part replaced. 2. Washing machine connection leak When the washing machine is connected/used, there is some water leakage. I need someone to inspect the hose, tap connection and/or drain area and fix the leak if possible. 3. Built-in Westinghouse microwave not powering on The built-in microwave has completely stopped working. There is no display, light or response. We tested the same power outlet with another appliance and the outlet works, so the issue appears to be with the microwave itself. I need someone to inspect/diagnose it and advise whether it can be repaired or should be replaced. 4.Dishwasher appears locked / not responding The dishwasher seems to be locked and I am not sure why. I need someone to inspect it, check whether it is a child/control lock issue, and advise if it can be reset or repaired. Optional issue: One power point not working One power point does not work. This is optional and only to be inspected/repaired if you are a licensed electrician. If not, that is fine and I can arrange it separately. Please only apply if you have relevant experience with plumbing repairs and/or appliance diagnosis. Please confirm which of the above items you are qualified and comfortable to inspect or repair. Budget is for labour/inspection only and excludes parts. I am happy to reimburse reasonable parts costs separately with receipt. Thanks.

Hi! I’m looking for someone experienced with minor home repairs and laundry appliance maintenance to help with a few issues in my apartment. Jobs needed: Kitchen sink sealant The sealant/silicone around the kitchen sink has mould underneath it. I’d like the old sealant removed properly, the area cleaned/treated for mould, and fresh waterproof kitchen/bathroom silicone applied neatly. Baseboard/skirting board repair There is a small chip/damage in the baseboard from where a picture fell. I’d like this patched/repaired and touched up so it looks clean again. There are also additional chips in other places if there's time Dryer repair + deep clean The dryer door is not staying properly shut and keeps coming undone during a drying cycle. I need this assessed and fixed if possible. I’d also like the dryer deep cleaned, including lint removal, as I suspect there is built-up lint inside/around the filter/vents. Washing machine deep clean + leak issue I’d like the washing machine deep cleaned because clothes sometimes come out smelling bad. There is also water leaking from the detergent drawer area during the rinse cycle, so I’d like someone to check and fix that issue if possible. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who has experience with appliance cleaning/maintenance as well as basic handyman repairs. Please let me know if you’ve handled similar washer/dryer issues before and whether you can bring the right tools/materials, including mould treatment and fresh silicone sealant for the sink.
