I have two pendant lights that need shortening and installing. Both are the same style (photo attached). Location 1: The existing fitting has already been removed. The bare wires are isolated and ready for connection. The electrician needs to connect and hang the pendant, then cut the cord to an appropriate length so the shade sits at the right height. Location 2: The existing fitting is still in place. The electrician needs to remove it, then connect and hang the new pendant, cutting the cord to match Location 1. Both locations: The ceiling features original decorative heritage plaster roses. Take care not to crack or chip the plasterwork when securing the mounts. Test both lights before completing the job.

Fix our Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer DD60SCW9. It had an E04 error which meant the heat element was not working. I ordered the replacement heating element and replaced it myself. The E04 no longer occurs but the cycle selection buttons inside the draw no longer work, although it's powered as the red light on current cycle is on. It's stuck on 11 min rinse and although the E04 error doesn't occur on the rince cycle the water is still not heated and I assume it would be. Worth fixing or replacement? Seems white is discontinued so would need to go the DD60SCX9 (stainless steel) option. retails at $1699, how much would you charge for install and dispose of old one?

Hi, I need an experienced handyman for a two-part TV relocation and custom alcove installation. I am buying the main 77" LG wall bracket myself, but you must supply the structural timber/screws. Budget is $350 for labor and basic wood hardware. Part 1: TV Relocation Take down my current 65" LG G2 TV from its lounge recess. Unbolt its specialized, ultra-flat LG Gallery wall bracket from the studs. Relocate both the 65" TV and this bracket to a bedroom, find the wall studs, and mount it securely. Part 2: Custom Alcove Installation (Lounge) In the lounge, I have an empty recessed alcove measuring 155cm wide, 94cm high, and 10cm deep. I am installing a new 77" LG C6 TV (23.5kg) using an official slim LG OLW480B bracket (which I will provide). The screen needs to float over the front face, flush with the outer room wall. Materials You Need to Supply: 90x45mm structural framing timber to pack out the 10cm deep alcove level with the front drywall. Heavy-duty M8 structural lag bolts to anchor the timber into the main wall studs. Your Tasks: Locate studs inside the 10cm deep lounge alcove. Cut and bolt your structural timber vertically into those studs to fill the depth gap safely. Note: Do not run timber to the bottom of the alcove—keep the timber blocks short (approx. 45cm long) and high up so they stay completely hidden behind the center of the TV. Install my flat LG OLW480B wall plate onto those timber blocks perfectly level. Align the vertical spacing so a clean 12cm opening is left entirely hollow and empty at the very bottom of the alcove for my soundbar to slide into. Assist me in lifting and hooking the 77" OLED panel onto the frame. Please bring your own professional tools (drill, saw, spirit level, high-accuracy stud finder). Thanks!
