Waiter Private 80th Birthday Celebration We’re looking for an experienced and friendly waiter/bar attendant to help at a relaxed cocktail-style 80th birthday celebration being held at our home. Date: Saturday, 26 September 2026 Time: 2:45 pm – 8:00 pm Responsibilities: Greeting guests with drinks on arrival. Serving beer, wine and soft drinks, with regular top-ups throughout the afternoon. Preparing a small selection of simple pre-planned cocktails as required. Managing our drop-off catering, including keeping food warm where required, plating and presenting food using serving dishes provided, and circulating food to guests. Clearing glasses and plates, tidying as you go, and keeping the entertaining area and kitchen organised throughout the event. Providing general kitchen hand support to ensure everything runs smoothly. We’re looking for someone who: Has previous waitstaff and bar experience. Is confident preparing simple cocktails. Is proactive, organised and able to work independently. Is friendly, personable and professional. Presents well and is dressed appropriately for a private function. The celebration will have a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere with approximately 35 guests. We’re looking for someone who can confidently take ownership of the food and beverage service so our family can enjoy celebrating together. The idea is simple — you arrive dressed as a waiter and blend in with the restaurant staff, acting as though you’re genuinely working there. Then, completely unexpectedly, you break into song and surprise the birthday girl and guests! 😂🎤 We’d love a 15-minute set of around 3–5 songs, with a fun, cheeky personality and some interaction with the birthday girl. 🎶 Music ideas: * ABBA * Sinatra * Dean Martin * 70s/80s classics * Fun sing-alongs * One special song dedicated to Diane We’re looking for someone who is confident, entertaining, has a great voice and can really pull off the undercover waiter role. Date: Saturday, 29 August 2026 Time: 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm (approx. 5 hours) Location: Rouse Hill NSW 2155 About the event Approximately 20 guests. Relaxed, luxe cocktail-style evening with drinks, grazing food and good music. Apartment with balcony entertaining area. Duties include: Welcome guests with a drink. Serve food and top up grazing platters as needed. Collect used glasses and plates throughout the evening. Wash dishes/load dishwasher as required.
