Job Details: We require a qualified and licensed electrician to attend our retail store on Chapel Street to diagnose and repair a fault in our back-of-house lighting circuit. The Problem: Two lights in our staff area (storage room and bathroom) are not working. Important Information from Previous Electrician: An electrician has already attended and confirmed the following: - This is NOT a simple globe replacement. The issue is a lack of power to the light fittings. - The light fittings themselves are brand new and confirmed to be in working order (they were tested on a separate power point). - The fault is believed to be in the ceiling wiring or the circuit itself. - The job requires fault-finding and repair, not just installation. Key Requirements for the Tasker: - You must be a licensed and insured electrician in Victoria. - You MUST bring a 10ft (approx. 3m) ladder. The previous electrician could not access the roof/ceiling space without one. This is essential to complete the job. - You must have your own tools for electrical diagnostics and repair. Scope of Work: 1. Attend the store. 2. Use the 10ft ladder to safely access the ceiling/roof space. 3. Diagnose the electrical fault causing the power outage to the two back-of-house lights. 4. Repair the fault if it can be completed within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., loose connection, simple wiring fix). 5. If the issue is more complex and requires significant parts or labour, please provide a clear quote for the required work before proceeding. 6. Ensure the area is left clean and tidy. The goal is to have the lights fully operational again. Please only make an offer if you are a qualified electrician with the required ladder and are experienced in fault-finding. Thank you.

There is power in the roof powering the existing LEDs with GPO points and easy roof cavity access, so I imagine limited wiring will be needed, perhaps just a power plug attached to light wiring.
