I’m looking for an experienced landscaper or paving professional to remove old pavers and install new ones in my courtyard (approx. 4.5m x 4.1m). What’s involved: - Lift and dispose of existing pavers (courtyard is fully paved). - Prepare and level the base as needed. - Supply and lay new pavers once selected (I’m happy to source or discuss supply through you). - Ensure proper drainage and neat edging. I haven’t selected the new pavers yet, so I’d appreciate advice or recommendations on suitable, durable options for an outdoor courtyard.

Base for Shed 3 x 3 Steps 1. Use string lines and pegs to mark the exact area on the grass (Add about 100 mm extra on each side) 2. Use a shovel to cut and remove the top layer of grass (about 75–100 mm deep). 3. Make sure the ground is flat and even. 4. Remove roots and rocks to prevent future unevenness. 5. Rake the area smooth. 6. Use a tamper or plate compactor to firmly compact the soil. 7. Check with a level — the surface should be flat but slightly sloped (about 10 mm per meter) for drainage 8. Spread a 50–75 mm layer of crushed rock (gravel) evenly over the area. 9. Compact it firmly using the plate compactor. 10. Check for level again. 11. Use weed mat under the gravel layer to stop grass from regrowing 12. Spread 25–30 mm of coarse bedding sand on top of the compacted gravel. 13. Level the sand with a straight board or screed. 14. Place each paver flat on the sand and tap gently with a rubber mallet. 15. Use a level frequently to keep everything even. 16. Maintain small gaps 17. Sweep fine sand into the gaps between pavers. 18. Lightly water the area to help the sand settle. 19. Repeat filling and watering until all gaps are filled. Expected results - Pavers should feel solid and not move - The surface should be perfectly flat and stable for the shed - If you notice any wobbling, lift and adjust those pavers - pour a bucket of water on the high side — it should flow smoothly toward the low side (check drainage)

I have a small section of my driveway/path that I need repaved with brick pavers. I pulled some tree roots out and loosened a section of pavers along the edge. There is also a section that has risen over time that I want levelled. I have plenty of extra pavers. A fence is getting be installed on Tuesday, so need ti done before then.
