Looking for an experienced painter to prepare and repaint the exterior of an older weatherboard home at 37 Bunya Street, Greenslopes. The existing paint is weathered and peeling in a number of areas, so proper preparation is important. We are not looking to simply paint over the existing peeling paint. The house sits on a sloping block. Although it appears partly two storey from some angles, a substantial section underneath is completely open, so there is considerably less exterior wall area than a normal two storey house. Work required includes scraping/removing loose paint, sanding and preparation as required, priming exposed timber, and repainting exterior weatherboards and trims. Budget is approximately $7,000, but open to reasonable quotes based on the condition and preparation required. Please advise whether your offer includes labour, paint and materials, and what exterior paint you propose to use. Preference for someone experienced with older timber/weatherboard homes. Please confirm relevant QBCC licence and insurance where required.

Re-paint Ensuite Ceiling - Scope of Works: Scrape back all loose, peeling and flaking paint to the ceiling. Sand and smooth affected areas as required. Treat any visible mould or mildew prior to painting. Apply primer/sealer to repaired or stained areas as required. Apply two coats of suitable mould-resistant bathroom/ceiling paint to achieve an even, consistent finish. Leave the work area clean and tidy upon completion. Colour: White, or match existing ceiling colour where possible. Please clean exhaust fan and seal where required.

Looking for an experienced spray/furniture painter to paint 3-4 brand-new IKEA MULIG metal clothes racks in sage green. The racks will be purchased new and are white powder-coated steel. I can provide them completely unassembled, making the individual pieces easier to prepare and spray. They will be used regularly at clothing markets and transported frequently, so I'm looking for a neat and reasonably durable finish that won't easily chip or peel. I'm happy to leave the preparation and painting method to someone experienced but understand this may involve lightly sanding/scuffing and cleaning the existing finish, using a suitable primer if required, and applying an appropriate durable paint. Colour reference: White Knight 310g Sage Green Gloss Squirts Spray Paint from Bunnings. I really love this particular sage green and would like the finished colour to be as close to it as possible, preferably in a satin or matt finish. You don't need to use the White Knight spray paint itself—I'm happy for you to recommend a more durable and cost-effective paint/product that achieves a similar colour. I'm trying to keep the project reasonably budget-friendly, so I'm open to different painting methods or suggestions that will provide a good balance between cost and durability. Please let me know: • Your price for all 3-4 racks • Whether paint/materials are included • Approximate turnaround time • Any examples of similar metal/furniture painting you've done, if available I'm based in Adelaide CBD and can potentially drop the racks off locally if that helps keep the cost down.
