Looking for an experienced painter to clean, prepare and repaint my kitchen ceiling following fire/smoke damage. Scope of work: Clean and remove smoke residue from the kitchen ceiling. Prepare the ceiling surface for painting. Apply suitable stain-blocking sealer to prevent smoke stains from bleeding through. Apply two coats of good-quality ceiling paint for a neat, even finish. Light sanding and minor surface preparation if required. Protect kitchen cabinets, appliances and surrounding areas during the work. Clean up after completing the job. Requirements: Must have previous experience with smoke/fire-damaged ceilings. Must bring your own tools, cleaning equipment and painting materials. Must use appropriate stain-blocking products rather than simply painting over the stains. Budget: $600 AUD
