Looking for an experienced joinery drafter/designer for an upcoming project. I have the concept, measurements and general design worked out, but the project has grown beyond what I can realistically produce myself to the standard I want to give the client. I’m looking for someone who can take my information and sketches and produce a full professional set of joinery drawings, including plans, elevations, sections and construction/details ready for client approval and manufacture. This could lead to ongoing work for the right person, as I regularly have high-end residential projects requiring detailed joinery drawings. We are looking for someone experienced in commercial/shop fit-outs to help us plan a new barbershop in the Inner West, Sydney. We need someone to come in person to do the measurements prior and the rest is all remote. The shop is currently an empty, open post-construction space with no existing fit-out. We can organise a site visit for you to inspect the space and take accurate measurements before preparing the plans. WHAT WE NEED: • Full site measure and accurate floor plan • Proposed layout for 4 barber chairs and mirrors, including advice on individual vs double-sided mirror stations • Best layout for reception desk, customer lounge/waiting area, TV and storage • Plan for a small enclosed back room, including Gyprock/internal walls and door • Advice on Inner West Council/approval requirements for adding the back room and completing the fit-out • Electrical planning, including powerpoints for barber stations, reception, TV and equipment • Lighting recommendations and positioning throughout the shop • Advice on adding air-conditioning and the best location/system • Recommendations on any other practical requirements we may be missing for a functional barbershop We would also like a visual concept/3D render if possible so we can see what the completed space could look like. Our aim is a clean, polished industrial-style barbershop while keeping the fit-out practical and cost-effective. We already have the original real estate floor plan, rough measurements, photos of the premises and inspiration/reference images, which we can provide. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in commercial fit-outs, barbershops, salons or similar spaces who can also provide an approximate cost/quote for completing the proposed fit-out. MENU DESIGNER REQUIRED- PORT MELBOURNE VENUE Looking for a menu designer to help refine and professionally format our venue menus. We already have the branding, menu content and general foundation in place. We need someone with a strong eye for layout, spacing and consistency to bring everything together. We’re a modern Australian local pub with a strong Irish influence. The design should feel clean, contemporary and welcoming—modern Irish pub rather than overly traditional or themed. The project includes: Main food menu – A3 Restaurant menu – A4 New beverage menu – suitable for both A3 and A5 Improving layout, hierarchy, spacing and readability Creating a consistent design across all menus Supplying print-ready PDFs All menus must also be supplied as fully editable Canva templates so our in-house team can easily update pricing, menu items and descriptions moving forward. We are looking for a one-off design and template setup, rather than ongoing designer support. Please ensure all fonts, graphics and design elements used can be accessed and edited within Canva without requiring additional paid design software. Hospitality or restaurant menu design experience is preferred. Please include examples of relevant work when making an offer. Budget: $300, open to reasonable offers based on experience and the work required.
