The structure must include integrated guttering and a downpipe solution to manage water runoff effectively. Scope of Work • Structure: Install a monopitch (lean-to) roof over a set of external stairs approximately 4m x 100cm • Framing: Provide and install a lightweight, durable frame (Steel or Aluminum preferred) anchored to the concrete wall on one side and supported by independent posts on the outer edge. • Roofing: Supply and install corrugated metal roofing sheets (Colorbond/Zincalume) • Water Management: * Install a custom flashing at the wall-to-roof junction to prevent leaks. • Install a gutter (Quad or Hi-Front) along the low edge. • Install a downpipe and connect it to the existing stormwater system or direct it to a suitable drainage point. • Safety: Ensure a minimum head clearance of 2.1m at the lowest point.

Led light wiring and installation I attempted to replace an old fluorescent light fixture with an LED light in one of the rental rooms, but I made a mistake with the wiring and now the lights no longer turn on. I understand that I am not legally qualified to perform electrical work. However, I believed that replacing a light fixture only required connecting the L and N wires, so I turned off the breaker for safety and proceeded with the replacement. The first light was successfully replaced and worked fine (it only had L and N wires). However, when removing the second old fixture, I found that the switch wire, the wire connecting to the other light, and the power supply were all connected in a complicated way. Several wires were passing through a small hole in the fixture, and I could not pull them out without disconnecting the connector. When I pulled it, the connections came apart and I could no longer identify the correct wiring. I reconnected everything as I believed it was originally, but now neither the second fluorescent light nor the newly installed LED light will turn on. After checking many times, it seems that no power is coming through the 240V supply line. There is also no power at the switch. I even replaced the switch with a new one, but it made no difference. I suspected a broken power line, so I went into the ceiling space. It appears that the power for the lights is taken from the ceiling fan in the room, and that fan seems to get its power from the adjacent kitchen, but I could not confirm the exact wiring. The fan itself works normally. The fan switch has 240V, and I tried running a jumper wire from the fan to the light switch, but that did not work either.
