The Glow Strap requires a compact, lightweight and rechargeable electronic system capable of controlling three distinct lighting modes. The device will be worn primarily on the arm but should also be suitable for the wrist or ankle. The circuit must incorporate a rechargeable 3.7V lithium-polymer (Li-Po) battery with integrated protection against overcharging, over-discharging and short circuits. Charging should occur via a USB-C port to ensure ease of use and compatibility with modern charging devices. The lighting system must provide three user-selectable modes: Mode Colour Operation Mode 1-Orange- Slow flash every 2–3 seconds Mode 2- Red- Fast flash every 0.5 seconds Mode 3- White- Continuous illumination The circuit should include three tactile buttons, each dedicated to activating one lighting mode. An additional power button may be incorporated if required. Only one mode should operate at a time, with selection of a new mode automatically disabling the previous mode. A microcontroller should be used to control timing sequences, button inputs and power management. The circuit should be designed to maximise battery life while maintaining high visibility. The lighting system must be bright enough to be clearly visible from a minimum distance of 20 metres in low-light conditions. The engineer may utilise individual LEDs, RGB LEDs or RGBW LEDs provided the required colours and brightness levels are achieved. The complete electronic assembly must remain compact enough to fit within a wearable enclosure approximately 80 mm × 60 mm × 20 mm. The system should also be resistant to vibration, sweat and light rain, ensuring reliable outdoor operation. The final deliverables should include a circuit schematic, PCB layout, component list, programmed code and battery life calculations. I moved to a house and some of the electric points don't work. Also the exhaust in the ensuite bathroom doesn’t seem to be operating at full potential. The lights in the chandelier needs to be replaced. you need a ladder to reach it. Appreciate if you can also get this light to replace in the bathroom. I will pay for it.
