I have 2 MDF boards of the same dimensions, 1 board is 6mm thick and the other is 3mm thick. They need to be stapled with 3mm MLV material in between them. The MLV material was bought in a roll so it is not flat, the outer layer MDF boards need to press the MLV material flat. The MDF boards are 1197mm * 1267mm. The MLV material will need to be cut from the roll. MLV rectangles have to be placed without gaps. Once the boards and MLV have been stapled together, the next step is to cut out a rectangle at the corner of the stapled board. Finally, the reflective insulation sheet has to be cut and taped to the board. It will probably be necessary to staple the cut MLV pieces to one of the MDF boards before stapling all 3 layers together because positioning several cut MLV pieces together without gaps is difficult.

Preferred work to be done on Tuesday or weekends. I have an overhead line with VIR / damaged consumer mains that needs replacing on a clean wooden board with existing RCBOs so a smart meter can fit. The meter box is located right to POA and on the left side of the wall to the door way. Scope of work: -Isolate Power from the Pole: Temporarily disconnects my house from the Ausgrid street pole to make the working area dead. -Pull Out the VIR Cables: Strip the hazardous Vulcanised Indian Rubber cables and the old cables running down from my Point of Attachment (POA) on the roof/gutter line into the meter box. -Run New XLPE Consumer Mains: Install modern, heavy-duty 16mm XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) cables along that exact same overhead-to-box path. -Connect to existing RCBOs. -Test and commission the installation. - Provide a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) Pricing Requirements Your quote should include: - All labour costs - All materials and equipment - Application and administrative fees - Testing and certification - Airtasker fees (if applicable) Contractor Requirements - Current NSW electrical licence - NSW Level 2 ASP accreditation - Public liability insurance Additional Information Please indicate: - Whether a site inspection is required before providing a final quote - Estimated timeframe to complete the work - Any assumptions or exclusions Please provide your total fixed price and a brief summary of your relevant experience.

Need a licensed electrician to replace a failing switch in my toilet and split it into 2 separate switches (one for the light, one for the exhaust fan). The Problem Single switch currently controls both the ceiling light and the fan. When I turn it on, it sparks visibly, then works. Turn it off and on again quickly — nothing happens. Leave it off for 2 hours — works again (with another spark). Pattern is getting worse. Already tested: ✅ Fan works fine on a separate power point (motor is healthy) ✅ Light works fine on its own ✅ Breaker is NOT tripping ✅ One nearby room's light goes off with the toilet when it fails — shared circuit Conclusion: the switch itself is failing (worn contacts / loose terminals from fan startup inrush). What I need done: Replace existing 1-gang switch with a 2-gang switch plate (light on one, fan on the other) Inspect the wall box for heat damage and flag anything concerning Confirm wiring supports the split before doing extra work Quote should include the 2-gang switch and faceplate (or tell me what to buy).
