I would like to request a quotation for the supply and installation of a new digital door lock to replace the existing VingCard lock on my apartment door. Please note the following: 1. The existing lock is a VingCard digital door lock. 2. The proposed replacement lock has a different latch hole configuration on the door jamb (strike plate). 3. However, the cross bore and latch bore on the door itself are more or less the same size as those of the existing lock. 4. The work will therefore likely require modification or replacement of the strike plate and adjustment of the corresponding opening on the door jamb, while retaining the existing door preparation as much as possible. I have attached photographs of the existing VingCard lock, the proposed new digital lock, and their respective components for your reference. Approval from the hotel management to replace the existing lock has already been secured. Please review the photographs and advise: - Whether the proposed lock can be installed using the existing door preparation. - What modifications, if any, would be required. - Your quotation for labour and materials, including any additional work required. - The estimated installation time and your earliest availability. I would appreciate an all-inclusive quotation before proceeding.

Looking for someone experienced with small petrol engines or lawn mower repairs to inspect and hopefully get my older Masport mower running again. It's a Masport Quantum/Procom 500 Series mower, fitted with a Briggs & Stratton 4.5HP I/C Industrial/Commercial engine with a cast-iron bore. The mower currently won't start, but otherwise appears to be in good condition. It's an older, solidly built mower with a quality engine, so I'd prefer to repair it rather than replace it if possible. Looking for someone who can diagnose the problem, carry out an affordable repair and give it a basic service if required. Ideally someone with experience repairing older Briggs & Stratton engines. Happy to discuss a reasonable price.

Need an experienced carpenter or cabinet maker to trim down the width of an IKEA TONSTAD wardrobe door (solid particleboard core with acrylic paint (white)). Requires a precise rip cut using a track saw to prevent chipping, edge banding the raw cut edge, and boring out 4 new 35mm concealed hinge cup holes using a plunge jig. Depending on location I can drop off to your workshop or have it done on-site if possible. The existing door is white, 500mm wide, needs to be halved to 250mm wide. It’s 2290mm tall btw. The photo shows one door in place, the second needs to be trimmed to fit the left side of the wardrobe. This is not a complicated job for a cabinet maker or carpenter, but may become a nightmare for someone who has never done it. If you have the tools and skills, please make me an offer.
