I would like to request a quotation for the supply and installation of a new digital door lock to replace the existing VingCard lock on my apartment door. Please note the following: 1. The existing lock is a VingCard digital door lock. 2. The proposed replacement lock has a different latch hole configuration on the door jamb (strike plate). 3. However, the cross bore and latch bore on the door itself are more or less the same size as those of the existing lock. 4. The work will therefore likely require modification or replacement of the strike plate and adjustment of the corresponding opening on the door jamb, while retaining the existing door preparation as much as possible. I have attached photographs of the existing VingCard lock, the proposed new digital lock, and their respective components for your reference. Approval from the hotel management to replace the existing lock has already been secured. Please review the photographs and advise: - Whether the proposed lock can be installed using the existing door preparation. - What modifications, if any, would be required. - Your quotation for labour and materials, including any additional work required. - The estimated installation time and your earliest availability.
