Barista / Event Host Needed – Mount Coolum (Sunday Morning) I’m looking for a friendly, confident barista/event host to assist at a private baby shower brunch at our home in Mount Coolum this Sunday. When: * Arrive: 10:00am * Event: 10:15am–12:30pm * Coffee service: Approximately 10:30am–11:30am What you’ll be doing: * Making coffees using our Breville Barista Pro espresso machine (grinder and steamer included) * Preparing cappuccinos, lattes, long blacks and hot chocolates * Limiting service to approximately 1–2 drinks per guest * Restocking the food station as required * Collecting used plates/cups and keeping the space tidy * Light hosting duties (greeting guests, being approachable and personable, helping the event run smoothly) Requirements: * Previous café/barista experience is essential * Comfortable using a manual espresso machine and milk steamer * Friendly, professional and proactive * Happy to help with general event hosting and tidying when not making coffees Location: Mount Coolum This is a relaxed, intimate home event and I’m looking for someone who can bring great energy, excellent coffee-making skills and help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Please tell me a little about your barista experience when applying.
