I need an experienced appliance repair technician to diagnose and fix an electronic fault on a Sôlt front-load washing machine that is showing the E50 Error Code. Machine Details: • Appliance: Sôlt 8kg Front Load Washing Machine • Model Number: GGSFLW800W Problem Summary: The machine initially experienced a mechanical jam when the front door seal (gasket) clamp became dislodged. The drum now spins freely by hand, but when any cycle is started, the machine displays the E50 fault code and will not start the motor or drain the remaining water. The fault is electronic, not mechanical. What I have checked: • The Front Door Seal Clamp has been correctly re-seated. • The Drum spins freely by hand (Bearings/Major Jam is clear). • The Drive Belt is visually intact and correctly seated on the pulleys. • A 15-minute hard power reset has been performed, but the E50 error returns. • The back panel is currently unsecured for easy access. Likely Required Repair (Based on Diagnosis): The fault is likely one of the following, which will need professional inspection: 1. Motor Carbon Brushes: Worn out and unable to provide enough torque after the sudden stop. 2. Tachometer/Speed Sensor: Damaged by the shock of the jam, preventing the motor from getting speed feedback. 3. Main Control Board (PCB) / Triac: Component failure caused by the current surge during the jam. Offer/Pricing: Please provide a quote that includes the following: 1. Call-out and Initial Diagnosis Fee. 2. Labour and Parts for the repair (if possible, provide an estimate for replacing the brushes/sensor versus the cost of replacing the PCB). Remove the existing 4-drawer cabinet (60 cm wide) and prepare the space for installing a front-loading washing machine. What needs to be done Carefully remove the drawer cabinet without damaging the benchtop or surrounding cabinets. Create a clean cavity for a standard washing machine (approx. 595–600 mm wide). Extend the electricity supply from the existing power socket on the right side of the cabinet range so the washing machine can be plugged in safely. Bring water supply from the sink area into the new washing-machine cavity. Route the wastewater discharge into the sink plumbing (as per the image I will provide). Adjust or cut cabinetry panels/kickboard if required for a proper fit. Requirements Licensed and insured plumber/electrician only. (Please confirm your licence and insurance before accepting.) Must bring all tools needed for plumbing + minor cabinet modification. Additional notes - I have tried to include all necessary information for the job. - If anything is missing or if you need further details, just ask — I can provide accurate measurements anytime. - No extra charges on the day will be accepted. Please quote everything upfront. Washing machine will go between the sink cabinet and the water-heater cupboard (tight 60 cm space). Benchtop must remain intact.
