I can also fix power tool chargers as well. Depending on the battery type, prices will sit around $30-40 per battery. Chargers are $50 depending on the problem. You can post to my address or drop off. Don't throw away your old batteries, %90 of the time, its just a easy fix. I also sell refurbished batteries. Please bear in mind that parts will also be charged if required, I'll send quotes if required of course.

Hi Craig, I'm looking for a quote to repair a GHD curling iron (Curve Classic https://ghdhairpro.com.au/ghd-chronos-curve-conical-curling-wand/ghd-curve-classic-wave-wand). It’s out of warranty and has developed a fault where it flashes red and beeps but won't heat up. Since you're a licensed electrician, I wanted to check if this is a repair you have experience with. My business had a roof leak (heavy ingress) and two of the ABCO electric beds were impacted with water and stopped working. They would no longer turn on. When I moved them to another power point black ash blew out of each. At first I thought it was the power point but when we moved a THIRD bed to the same power source it too blew out. I need a report for my insurer outlining what I've been advised, in that the beds are not worth repairing as their is water ingress and the internal circuits have been compromised to the point they would have no warranty and are now a fire hazard.

The softener isn’t being taken by the washing machine during the cycle. Wondering if there’s any washing machine technicians out there. It’s an old machine that I was gifted so I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some sort of blockage but I’ve checked the filter. Electrolux won’t let me book it in for repair because I don’t know the exact purchase date.
