Background: I’ve built a Python/Streamlit app using Folium to visualize power flow on a transmission network (100+ lines, 1.75M+ rows). It allows users to upload GeoJSON files, click lines/substations for bidirectional data (e.g., time series), draw new lines / add new substations, and export updated GeoJSON. It works but is slow and clunky, not production-ready. Request: Port the app to React/TypeScript with Mapbox GL JS for superior visuals, speed, and scalability. Use Tailwind CSS and Shadcn UI for clean, modern components. This is a standalone project based app, not a website or a commercial product, so keep it focused—no over-engineered solutions, just MVP. Key Additional Features Required: 1. Enhanced Timelapse: timelapse in Python/Streamlit is janky and slow. need a smooth, performant playback of power flow data over time. 2. Animated Arrows: Dynamic arrows on transmission lines indicating flow direction. 3. Large Dataset Handling: Efficiently process 1.75M+ rows (duplicates, vector operations, merges) using TanStack Table, D3.js, or Lodash. Offload heavy computations to Web Workers for responsiveness. Required Expertise: I’ve started the React project but I need a developer skilled in React/TypeScript. Experience with Tailwind/Shadcn, Mapbox GL JS, and large-scale data manipulation is a plus. On job acceptance, I’ll share my current Python/Streamlit code and React prototype. Deliverables: Full source code, setup instructions, and a brief demo showing the new features.

Right now, the process starts but stalls partway and does not reliably send updates. Task requirements: Debug why Firestore updates stop during the workflow. Ensure every step (1–4) reliably writes status and results back to Firestore. Add retries, error handling, and non-blocking logic so Cloud Run does not freeze mid-process. Review and set correct Cloud Run configuration parameters (memory, CPU allocation, timeout, concurrency) to support long-running analysis. Provide tested and working code deployed in Cloud Run. Confirm that status and results are visible in Firestore and accessible to the front end. Tech stack: Python 3.x Flask Google Cloud Run, Firestore, Cloud Storage, frontend Firebase Deliverables: Updated Python codebase with fixes. Verified end-to-end run on Cloud Run with Firestore showing updates at each step. Documented Cloud Run setup (e.g., recommended --cpu, --memory, --timeout, and concurrency settings) so the process is stable. Clear notes on code changes and deployment steps for future maintenance. We have started our website on Shopify using the cheapest plan. We don't want to pay extra for an app to do both B2B and B2C pricing. We would like some to: - setup B2B and B2C in the most cost effective and maintainable way (is there a way to code it in Shopify?) - Finish off the site so that it's ready to go (add items, configure shipping, setup payment methods). - Optional (depending on your fee as we are on a budget) customise code so the website looks beautiful! Extra info: we only sell two product types, which are both costed at the same price. Roughly around 25-30 items to list. Please note individual products are already uploaded with images, pricing and SKUs. They are not uploaded for wholesale however it will be the same products and images just with MOQs and a cheaper price.
